Raymond Ogholaja Congratulates Mr Sunny Ofe on his appointment as Commissioner in DESOPADEC.


The Chairman of the Itsekiri Community Asaba has has sent his congratulatory message to  Mr Sunny Ofe on his appointment and swearing-in as Commissioner representing Itsekiri ethnic Nationality on the board of DESOPADEC.


Comrade Raymond Ogholaja , in his congratulatory statement, described him as a committed and reliable Itsekiri Patriot, and core party member who have contributed immensely to the development of Delta State from inception . 


According to Comrade Raymond Ogholaja , "Today, I celebrate my friend,brother and delighted to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your recent appointment as a Commissioner on the board of DESOPADEC representing the Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality. Your appointment is a testament to your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the development of Delta State.


I have no doubt that your wealth of experience and expertise will be invaluable in your new role. As a Commissioner, you have been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the implementation of programs and projects aimed at improving the lives of the oil-producing communities in Delta State. This is a noble task, and I am confident that you will approach it with the utmost diligence and professionalism.


I wish you every success in your new role and pray that God will grant you the wisdom, strength, and guidance needed to discharge your duties effectively. Once again, congratulations on your appointment, and I look forward to working with you to advance the development of our great State.




Comrade Raymond Ogholaja  prayed that God should bless and strengthen him to fulfill his responsibilities to the Itsekiri Nation.

Olorogun Hon. Barr. John Obukowho Nani -Chairman, Chief Festus Ochonogor - Managing Director; Mr. Efele Eyewu Nicholas-Executive Director; Mr. Favour Izoukumor - Executive Director; Chief Taleb A. O. Tebite-Executive Director and Mr. Oghenekome Okpobor  Executive Director.


Other members of the Board are Chief Julius Egbedi; Mr. Sylvester Ovbije; Mr. Goru Jonathan Oghenekaro; Mr. Azuka Enebeli; Dr. Charles Olisa; Mrs. Cordelia N. Anyangwu; Mr. Sonny Ofe; Chief Victor Egbo and Mr. Spencer Okpoye.


He said the new board was a good blend of youth and experience, saying it is good to note that the members are grassroots politicians who have served our party and the government in various capacities.


He advised the board to consult widely with communities to ensure that their needs were met as the communities should determine the projects they want in their areas.
